The programme
10am – Delegation arrive at the Guildford Spectrum – Welcomed by local dignitaries Vice Chairman of Surrey County Council Lavinia Sealy, Councillor Ian Lake and Councillor Terrance Patrick.
10.10am – Drinks, Pastries and Formal introduction to the Surrey 2012 Team and overview of the Surrey Offer – Helen Bridgman & Vice Chairman of Surrey County Council Lavinia Sealy.
10.30am – Tour of the facilities – Claire Davenport, Helen Bridgman, Cllr Denise Saliagopoulos, Cllr Terrance Patrick.
11.15am – Depart for the Surrey Sports Park. Helen Bridgman, Guests and Lindsey Horton will be provided with transport, so that cars can be left at the Spectrum Leisure Complex
1.30am – Arrive at Surrey Sports Park, met by Gems Leaming (project Manager) and Jason Harborow (Director)
11.35am – Tour of the Sports Park facilities and accommodation facilities
12.35pm – Depart for National Shooting Centre at Bisley
1pm – Arrive at the Lord Roberts Centre, National Shooting Centre, Bisley. Met by Geoff Doe (Director of Shooting NSRA) and Glynn Alger (Secretary General for the Rifle Association)
1.05pm – Lunch at the Lord Roberts Centre
1.35pm – Tour of the Lord Roberts Centre and Tour of the Clay Shooting Centre
2.20pm – Depart for Frensham Heights Independent School
3pm – Arrive at Frensham Heights Independent School and met by David Armitage (Bursar), Kerry Guy (Enterprise Manager) and Gordan Duncan (Estates Bursar)
3.05pm – Tour of the Facilities and accommodation
3.35pm – Depart for Woking Boxing Club
4pm – Arrive at Woking Boxing Club and met by David Oliver (Woking Boxing Club) and Jill Dixon (Woking Borough Council) 4.40pm – Depart for the Holiday Inn, Woking 5pm – Arrive at the Holiday Inn, Woking and met by Councillor Denise Saliagopoulos Cabinet Member for 2012 and Caroline Atkins (Sales Manager).
5.05pm – Tour of the facilities at Holiday Inn, Woking
5.40pm – Final Presentation and questions regarding the Surrey offer
6pm – Dinner 8pm – Depart for the Guildford Spectrum Leisure Complex to collect cars
8.30pm –Depart from the Guildford Spectrum
